We believe children thrive best in family settings and are privileged to work with Mentor foster parents to help children heal and thrive. As part of The MENTOR Network, we are proud to continue a 40-year history of providing children and families innovative, quality services and supports in their own communities.

Become a Foster Parent

Our goal is to provide youth at risk with nurturing supports in a loving home where they can heal and move forward. To do that, we need caring foster parents to open their hearts to these deserving kids. In our Therapeutic Foster Care program, we call our foster parents Mentors because they do so much more than provide a home to a child in need—they help children grow and learn, forever changing their lives. As a Mentor, you will receive 24/7 support from our experienced team of professionals, opportunities to develop skills, and the reward of making a difference in a child’s life. Plus, the bonds of family you will create can last a lifetime.

There is a critical need for homes for older children and teenagers in our community, and you can begin your foster care journey with us from home. Serving the Louisville and Lexington regions, our team is available for virtual meetings and phone calls to discuss any and all questions you may have about how to support youth in Kentucky!
